Who we are

The Source Code is an independent educational meeting for aesthetic medicine, to be held in London in the summer of 2028.

What we collect

If you join our mailing list, we collect your email address and the date, time and source of your consent. We do not ask for your name, your profession, your registration number or anything else, and we do not buy or import addresses from anywhere else.

Why we collect it

To tell you when tickets go on sale and to send occasional updates about the meeting. That is the only purpose. We do not use your address for anything else and we never sell, rent or share it with sponsors, partners, exhibitors or any other third party.

Our lawful basis

Consent, under Article 6(1)(a) of the UK GDPR. You give it by ticking the box on the signup form and confirming through the email we send you. You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it is as easy as giving it.

Who processes it

Our mailing list is held by EmailOctopus, operated by Three Hearts Digital Ltd, a UK company. Subscriber data is stored on servers in the European Union. They act as our data processor under a written data processing agreement and may only use your data to provide the service to us.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe, or until two years after the meeting has taken place, whichever comes first. If you unsubscribe we keep a record of your address on a suppression list, so that we do not email you again by mistake. If you would prefer we delete it entirely, ask us and we will.

Unsubscribing

Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. One click and you are off the list. You do not need to give a reason and we will not email you to ask for one.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Our web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which will receive your IP address in order to deliver them.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell you by email.
